The
West Central Valley Community School District is a progressive district, always
striving to provide the highest quality education. With an enrollment of 987
students, the district allows these communities to develop a middle school in
Redfield, a high school in Stuart, and two elementary schools located in Dexter
and Menlo. West
Central Valley is a member of the West Central Activities Conference offering
traditional sports of basketball, football, track, volleyball and
softball/baseball. The school district also supports golf, cross
country, wrestling and soccer. In addition to athletics, the district has a high
standard for fine arts, including excellence in instrumental and vocal music as
well as speech and drama.
It will be the mission of the West Central Valley
Community Schools to provide a sound educational experience that meets the needs
of the students in a safe and friendly atmosphere. This experience will include
awareness of culture, promotion of citizenship, preparation for future
employment, and development of life skills through the support of parents,
teachers, students, and community.
